This 1984 Tanzer is sail number 821 of 960 making it a second generation model from the final 2 years of production. According to a 2012 survey the “…vessel is substantially above average condition”. Sails and rigging
New CDI Flexible Furler2 (2011). New mains sail with one reef point, 6.4 oz woven dacron, Stack Pack (Jockey Red) with support battens and lazy jacks and Roller Furling Genoa 130% ( Doyle 2012). New Dodger, Bimini with connecting cente
r piece (GENCO Marine 2012) Jockey Red. New stays with new stainless steel turnbuckles and hardware all around including a heavier gage forestay 1/16” for furling jib (never used, purchased Sept 2015). Old forestays and turnbuckles go with the boat and have no visible damage.
Depth sounder, autopilot (Ray Marine 2007), chart plotter (Navman Tracker 5500 2007), VHF radio, speakers, 2 deep-cycle marine batteries with selector switch, electrical panel (2008) with marine wiring.
White fiberglass hull, red accent stripes, non-skid deck, black ablative bottom paint, cast metal keel, tiller steering, outboard motor. Teak cabin door and handrails. Original tiller and modified tiller (installed) come with the boat.
Vee berth forward with Jabsco head(new marine quality intake and drainage lines), center settee with table, galley is aft with 2 burner alcohol stove, sink with pump to water tank (20 gal Polyethylene), deep cooler, 41/2 cu ft. Sleeps 5. Interior cushions (high density foam) and covers are all new with sumbrella top covers (blue and beige stripe) and marine vinyl undersides. There are custom cut mats for floor protection. Interior is clean and well kept. Solid teak and teak veneer cabin trim. Windows were removed and re bedded by previous owner.
7.5 Mercury Outboard (1985) regularly serviced, last serviced Sept 2015. New fuel tank (plastic, 5 gallon Sept 2015) located at rear of stern cockpit.
Trailer and Winter Cover
Tri- axel road trailer built for 28 foot power boat set up with Tanzer 26 cradle. New brakes, lights and tires in 2010. Winter cover is was made by Tarp Rite of extra heavy fabric.
Dock lines and fenders, anchor (Danforth) and rode, swim ladder, safety equip. life lines vinyl coated. Stainless steel solar ventilator in main hatch. Plastimo 4 inch compass. New fuel tank. Last Marine Survey Oct 2012 “Vessel substantially above average condition and well maintained”.
