The Moonraker

The Moonraker trophy is a truly unique piece of MSA history and and was given to the MSA in the 1970s by Gil Groome.  Gil also provided the note below to guide the Commodore in choosing the annual recipient. The first recipient was HW Van Depoll in 1973.  The Moonraker Trophy was 22 years out of circulation (1985-2007) but safely kept by Ken Dauphine who last won the Moonrakeer with his wife Nancy.

Ken safely returned the Moonraker in 2007…. “Thanks Ken”
