People Power Day 2011 made Walinack Cove a busy place…

The MSA Skippers cane through for the “Friends of Mactaquacby showing up in numbers and taking 60 people for a sail.  Thanks to the MSA members who came out to organize our involvement and in particular to the ones who skippered for the day… John T. John B. Dave M, Guy H, Kim, Trevor and Helen R, Rod P,Dino K, and Ben J.

July 16 is People Power Day 2011

The “Friends of Mactaquac” have asked the MSA skippers to be involved in the 2010 People Power Day by taking people sailing on Saturday July 16th from Noon to 4pm.

If you feel comfortable doing that, or want to help by working to coordinate people on the docks, please make a comment on this posting or contact Commodore Kim Palmer at kim@canadianrods.com

The event was a success in last year and in 2008 event saw MSA skippers take out between 80 and 100 people

MSA “Brings It” to People Power Day

Calling all stations, this is the commodore

Our RC (RealEstate Commodore) Kim P. asvises that 6 skippers and crews showed up at Mactaquac’s People Power Day and 67 participants had the opportunity to try sailing.
